Jeepers Creepers
Certificate: Justin Long, Gina Philips, Eileen Brennan, Jonathan Breck
Length: 90 minutes Director: Victor Salva
Rating: Darius (Long) and Trisha (Philips) are siblings driving home from college through the American outback. On their way, they witness a strange man dumping what looks like dead bodies down a waste chute near an abandoned church. Fearing that the bodies might not be dead, they return later to check out what they had seen. However they discover a truth more horrible than their worst nightmares, and now they have to escape from the killer themselves.

This is classic horror at its best. The film starts off using story and atmosphere to instill genuine fear in both the characters and the audience, which provides a welcome change from the usual teen-horror trash. Unfortunately some of this fear dissipates later in the film when the true nature of the killer is revealed, diminishing the realism.

Nevertheless, this is an entertaining and engaging horror thriller that is bound to give you the creepers...
